Learning Ruby on Rails

Today I started something which I’ve been planning to do but never got around to doing until now; learning Ruby on rails. I’ve gone through the Ruby course on Codeacademy and I have worked with frameworks such as Drupal (just a little bit, I have to admit, not a big fan of PHP) and Grails (written in the Groovy language) and in school we built our own MVC framework.

Thus far I’ve only gone through about half of the first tutorial on Ruby/Rails and I have to say I’m quite impressed with the ease of use and I really appreciate the logic on which it is built. I feel like I can easily understand the principles and that is the most important thing.
